The GTI Scholarship and Visiting Fellowship programs fulfill one of the Institute’s top priorities as a 501(c)(3) non-profit policy incubator dedicated to insightful, cutting-edge, and inclusive research on policy issues regarding Taiwan and the world. GTI’s mission is to enhance the relationship between Taiwan and other countries, especially the United States, through policy research and programs that promote better public understanding about Taiwan and its people. GTI scholars are supported by a scholarship fund that provides financial support for researchers to conduct short-term field research in Taiwan, while visiting fellows receive similar financial support for field research in the United States.
